"Look at the donut, not the hole." ...age-old advice from one of my former coaches, reminding us to look at what we have, not what we don't

Remember, Babe Ruth may have been one of the great homerun hitters of all time, but he also struck out a lot, too. The job search is just like that, especially in this economy. Keep getting back up there and swinging for the fence!

Secretarial Work

I just got a call this morning from a local lawn care company--it is actually the company that cares for CSB's lawn and landscaping--and they are looking for a PT Secretary.  At present, the job will be 20-24 hours a week, but there is a chance it could go to FT once the spring and summer comes and their business ramps up.

The man said that the following traits are essential:
  • ability to work with Quickbooks
  • ability to work independently and to "jump right in" with little training
  • exellent customer service skills and the ability to answer phones, schedule appts, etc
If you are interested, please let me know with an email at tbarshinger@csb.edu or a phone call at 764-9550.
