"Look at the donut, not the hole." ...age-old advice from one of my former coaches, reminding us to look at what we have, not what we don't

Remember, Babe Ruth may have been one of the great homerun hitters of all time, but he also struck out a lot, too. The job search is just like that, especially in this economy. Keep getting back up there and swinging for the fence!

Belated Congratulations

I owe some of our students an apology for this belated congratulations.  With all the extra duties I had to prepare for Sunday's graduation ceremony, I didn't have time to make this post.  Thus, here we go...

Congratulations are in order for the following students who got jobs recently in their field (or in a closely-related field):
  • Donna Stambaugh got a job as a logistics coordinator/clerk at a very good local company.
  • Davida Lauer got a job as a medical assistant.
  • Harry Shaffer got a job as an Ecommerce Administrator with a local computer firm.
  • Jennifer Goldsmith got a job as an administrative assistant.
  • Lisa Windon, who is about to start internship, got a job as a medical secretary/medical office assistant.
Way to go!  I'm very happy for all of you, and I wish you continued success!

Tim Barshinger
