"Look at the donut, not the hole." ...age-old advice from one of my former coaches, reminding us to look at what we have, not what we don't

Remember, Babe Ruth may have been one of the great homerun hitters of all time, but he also struck out a lot, too. The job search is just like that, especially in this economy. Keep getting back up there and swinging for the fence!

Attention, Students and Grads

FYI, CSB Graduates...I will be out of the office for the week of July 2 and will return to work on July 9.  As a result, there will be no blog postings for job seekers' during that time period.

Have a great holiday week, and look to return for job posting blogs beginning again on July 9.

Happy 4th of July!!!

"What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you."
                                         - Ralph Waldo Emerson

These are two great quotations to begin your day.  Stay cool out there, and check out these leads!

Here are a few leads to start the day!  I hope to have more to share later today!

Way to Go, Christen!

I just learned that Christen Ingram has gotten a job as an accounting assistant.  I am very happy for Christen, and I hope that you will share in congratulating her for this wonderful achievement!

Great work, Christen!

A Terrific Tuesday

I hope that you are able to get outside at some point today and enjoy this terrific Tuesday weather.  And we should all be thankful that we're not living in Florida right now...where some places have gotten 15+ inches of rain!

So keep trying hard and look for the positive in every situation.  Remember the following:  "Look at the donut, not the hole"--and let it be your guide in all you do.
