"Look at the donut, not the hole." ...age-old advice from one of my former coaches, reminding us to look at what we have, not what we don't

Remember, Babe Ruth may have been one of the great homerun hitters of all time, but he also struck out a lot, too. The job search is just like that, especially in this economy. Keep getting back up there and swinging for the fence!

Take It to the Bank!

Attention CAM's, COM's, and BAM's:

One area of the business world that some of you might not have considered is banking.  Banking is one area of the economy that has seemed unaffected by the recession, as evidenced by the constant building of banks and credit unions.  Since you have training in accounting, Excel, Quickbooks, and, for some of you, Peachtree, working in a bank might be a move that is right on the money (bad pun intended).  Additionally, there are many positions within banks for which you might be qualified.  Be sure to check the bank websites below, as well as those of other banks, for possible leads you might follow.  Getting a job with a bank offers great opportunities, an excellent work environment, and the chance to help others.  Plus, have you ever met people in a bank who didn't seem happy?  Thus, I urge you to consider banking as an option related to your business training...it could turn out to be something great!  You can bank on it!

It's just another way that you need to "think outside the box" during these tough times!
