"Look at the donut, not the hole." ...age-old advice from one of my former coaches, reminding us to look at what we have, not what we don't

Remember, Babe Ruth may have been one of the great homerun hitters of all time, but he also struck out a lot, too. The job search is just like that, especially in this economy. Keep getting back up there and swinging for the fence!

Tuesday's Leads

How appropriate this quotation is in a job search!  We must recognize our own abilities and judge ourselves based on those abilities.  We cannot judge ourselves by other people's standards, for then we will surely find disappointment.  See yourself for what you are and the many strengths you possess...and then sell those points to your interviewers!  It's the first step toward finding success, and it's just like the old quotation:  "Know thyself."

Have a great Tuesday!
