"Look at the donut, not the hole." ...age-old advice from one of my former coaches, reminding us to look at what we have, not what we don't

Remember, Babe Ruth may have been one of the great homerun hitters of all time, but he also struck out a lot, too. The job search is just like that, especially in this economy. Keep getting back up there and swinging for the fence!

Keep on Rolling: Thursday's Leads

Sometimes it feels as if our most valiant efforts are meaningless, that we are locked in an uphill battle, rolling the proverbial stone up a cliff.

But it is often in those moments, when we can either stick it out or decide to quit, that the best opportunities arise.  Thus, we must continue to push forward despite the adversity, must continue to try even when it all feels hopeless, for it is in those moments that we truly understand our potential and develop a better sense of our capacity.  And it is from those moments that our greatest accomplishments are often forged.

Have a great day!
