"Look at the donut, not the hole." ...age-old advice from one of my former coaches, reminding us to look at what we have, not what we don't

Remember, Babe Ruth may have been one of the great homerun hitters of all time, but he also struck out a lot, too. The job search is just like that, especially in this economy. Keep getting back up there and swinging for the fence!

Attention, Medical Students!!!

One of our graduates is currently working at East York Eye Center on Pleasant Valley Road.  She is leaving in a few weeks for another job she has taken; thus, there will likely be an opening.

Therefore, I suggest you do a resume drop-off or a cold call there.  I don’t recommend that you mention the opening that will be available, but I do recommend that you say you’re simply calling to express interest in any open positionsLet me repeat that:  DO NOT say that you know there will be an opening, but DO express your interest in any positions that may be available now or in the future!  Obviously, we do not want to compromise the position of our student who is still there, so be discreet.

The address for resume drops:  2300 Pleasant Valley Road in York.

The phone number is 755-1993.
