"Look at the donut, not the hole." ...age-old advice from one of my former coaches, reminding us to look at what we have, not what we don't

Remember, Babe Ruth may have been one of the great homerun hitters of all time, but he also struck out a lot, too. The job search is just like that, especially in this economy. Keep getting back up there and swinging for the fence!

Two More Congratulations

Two of our current students, who are both set to go on internship in a few weeks, will be meeting their internship requirements while on the job--and getting paid for it!  Congratulations to Kelly Herbst (MAA) and Dawn Fuhrman (CAM) as both ladies landed jobs with a very respected and established company.  Kelly will be working as a claims representative, and Dawn will be a customer service representative.  See, Ladies, all those painful cold calls and daily company contacts actually did pay off!

Way to go, Kelly and Dawn!

On a related note, when President Obama announced Kelly and Dawn's job successes in a recent speech about the unemployment rate, even Vice President Biden was excited for them both!  How about that fist pump!
