"Look at the donut, not the hole." ...age-old advice from one of my former coaches, reminding us to look at what we have, not what we don't

Remember, Babe Ruth may have been one of the great homerun hitters of all time, but he also struck out a lot, too. The job search is just like that, especially in this economy. Keep getting back up there and swinging for the fence!

Kudos to Krista Kinard!

Congratulations to Krista Kinard for getting a position as a resident assistant!  When Krista finished her MAA Clinical degree at CSB, she knew she didn't want to work in a doctor's office or a clinical setting.  Instead, she wanted to work with individuals with disabilities or those who were terminally ill (through a hospice provider).  She wanted to use her new-found skills in a different way.  Thus, she looked for jobs and applied in a different manner than many of her MAA counterparts.  The result, after a number of interviews and a lot of applications, is a new job where she knows she'll be making a difference!  We are so happy for you, Krista!
